Pilates is a powerful tool for building strength from the inside out. Focusing on controlled movement, balance, and breath, it targets the deep stabilising muscles that support posture and joint health. For rehabilitation, Pilates offers a gentle yet effective pathway to restore mobility, improve alignment, and reduce pain helping the body recover safely and sustainably. As a fitness practice, it enhances flexibility, endurance, and core strength, creating a strong foundation for everyday movement and long-term wellbeing.f you want a class where you are guided effectively to ensure precision and control but to also be challenged and have fun then these classes are for you. With no more than 15 people per class you will receive care and attention within a group setting.
Pilates Classes
Classes are run at 9:30 am on Wednesday and Thursday mornings in the hall at St Peter's, Loudwater.
You can book into classes using the online booking system. If you are new to classes with Vivara a 1:1 session is recommended first. Alternatively you will be asked to complete a medical screening questionnaire prior to attendance.
1:1 Pilates
Pilates is about precision and understanding your body. One-to-one sessions are ideal if you are new to pilates to enable you to understand the core principles and build a foundation from which to build to then enter a group setting. They also provided an
environment for dedicated care and attention if you are recovering post surgery or injury . An initial 1:1 session is recommended prior to attending our group classes. These can be booked using the online booking system.
Small group sessions
If you are a small group of friends wanting to have your own session this can be arranged for groups of up to 5. These sessions will be held at the studio within Instinct Conditioning. Please fill out a contact form if you are interested.
